Dr. Ambedkar was born on April 14, 1891, in a small village in Maharashtra, Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar faced the harsh realities of caste-based discrimination from a young age. He ensured that the Constitution included provisions to abolish untouchability, promote affirmative action for marginalized communities, and guarantee fundamental rights for all citizens.
